XD was a match between Olympic silver medalist vs World Champion. China did very well.
Apriyani and Siti did extremely well to win their 1st S1000 tournament.
Hoki and Kobayashi is always consistent when they are in form.
Ratchanok also did well after her last win in 2020 tournament by beating the OG. CYF. She also beat 2 other China players before this. Amazing. Only Wong Mew Choo did the same.
Viktor is still in very good form. Momota form is still lousy. Hope he can make a comeback. Tough. Lucky to have walkovers. Momota was fresh against Vitid in semis. Thai xd pair did well to beat China OG in Semis. Ginting had a hard time with Viktor. LZJ was injured in IO and didn't do well in MO with hip injury.

- Takuro Hoki / Yugo Kobayashi (Japan) beat Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto (Indonesia): 24-22, 21-16, 21-9.
- Ratchanok Intanon beat Chen Yufei: 21-15, 13-21, 21-16.
- Viktor Axelsen beat Momota Kento 21-4, 21-7.
